Congratulations to the 1st Annual 2023 Retro Prom Royalty winner Jeannae Leger, whose efforts raised over $1,600 towards Student Success at NMHU. A great time was had by all, attendees dressed in their best danced to the music of the 80’s/90’s (and a few 70’s!). Alumni Board Member Mark Montoya was a major hit on the air guitar and Foundation Board Member Pauline Rindone took center stage as the Dance Contest winner! Special THANK YOU to the sponsors, donors, participants, staff, faculty and volunteers that helped make this event a success.

Highlands Day at the Legislature

Highlands turned the Round House PURPLE on Thursday, February 23!
Twelve departments set up program displays and faculty, staff, and administrators were on hand to speak to the hundreds of State Capitol visitors about the great things that are happening at NMHU. Memorials to Highlands were read in both the House of Representatives and the Senate chambers. Students from our music department entertained in the Rotunda during the noon hour. Hundreds of biscochitos were distributed throughout the entire building to celebrate the festive occasion. All in all, we successfully put our BEST BOOT FORWARD!
Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 Senior/Alumni Night
The Cowboys Wrestling team celebrated their Seniors at home against the Grizzlies of Adams State tonight at the John A Wilson Complex.
The Grizzlies left the Las Vegas as 32-9 victors over the Cowboys.
