Homecoming Poll
Our entire campus community is planning a full schedule of virtual events Monday – Friday, October 19-23. The week is capped off with two in-person events, described below.
Cowboy Drive-In at Highlands Homecoming 2020
Your NMHU Alumni Board is busy planning a fun, safe event for you to attend on Saturday, October 24 in Las Vegas, NM, utilizing our famous Fort Union Drive-In movie theater.
Guests will attend this event in the safety of their own vehicle (maximum of 5 people per vehicle). Audio is provided utilizing your vehicle’s own sound system. A drive-in themed gourmet dinner catered by The Skillet will be served to each attendee in their vehicle with a minimum of contact. Guests will be given souvenir Highlands-branded blankets and masks when they arrive, along with a selection of movie treats.
The evening will feature an awards video honoring our homecoming honorees, remarks by President Sam Minner and Dr. Paul Grindstaff, silent auction, and finish with a screening of a locally-filmed movie.
