The game has been moved to 1 p.m. Cowboy Football vs. Texas Wesleyan University

The Alumni Distinguished Honors Postgame BBQ will follow the football game in Melody Park

Community Decorating Contest begins
Las Vegas community businesses and residents are invited to show their Purple Pride and “Blaze New Trails” with us.

Judging takes place on Tuesday, September 12, 2-4 p.m. Prizes for Large Businesses (more than 7 employees), Small Businesses (6 or fewer employees) and Residences. Winner announced at halftime of the Homecoming game. To register call (505) 454-3248 or lylamaestas@nmhu.edu.

All alumni, students and community friends are invited to participate. $15 for 5K run and walk, first 25 Highlands Students are free, $10 after, Kid’s 1K event is free (limited to 35 participants). Have fun and receive a commemorative t-shirt.
